This series tells the stories of nature's ability to inspire awe. To many people it may feel that there are two worlds, the human world and the world of nature. What they cannot see is that the human world is embedded in the natural world and dependent of it. All of the items we have ever had into our hands have come from nature. Yet, this connection has been lost since people have transformed their surroundings into magnificent urban environments and as a result there is an illusion of separation. The way humans have created their luxurious society in a relative short period has been a formidable feat.  With that has come a loss of well-being as nature is intricately linked to the human spirit. In fact, our spirit will wither without the regenerating force of the natural world and needless to say our bodies will get toxic or die without nature's sustaining food and water supply.

In my art, I try to create a world that is reflective of the awe we find in nature. Each painting reflects our spiritual connection to that world. The golden glow of the AURUM series seeks to both illuminate  and reflect our deep sensation of what home means to us and by the act of introducing them into our house, they will shine and shimmer their golden light and their vibration and make us feel at home, in connection with nature.
