This painting reflects a time travel to the Italian island of Capri. It was during a marriage celebration of a friend during July 4 weekend. Capri was not a tourist destination at the time and the need to speak Italian was urgent. I went along with the program, merrily following my friends onto a boat and many restaurantsand soaking in the beautiful Italian scenery, the fabulous festivities, the innocence of the wedding day, the well dressed wedding guests and the incredible rock formation of the island. The colors of the pink magnolias, the bright yellow sunlight, the leveled houses on the hill side and the clear turquoise water surrounding us was hallucinating.
